Through hard work and great determination, Kamwendo is sitting pretty and things are looking good for the young pilot. According to Proflight, the achievement brings Kamwendo closer to the 1,500 hours mark, at which point he can sit exams to achieve his Senior Officer licence and “With a further 1,000 hours under is belt he can apply to become a captain”.

Kamwendo, who says on Twitter that he often “gets pulled over [by traffic police] for looking too young [9 out of 10]” is happy about his recent accomplishment.

“I have learnt a lot from the Proflight family and am happy to be part of the many achievements the airline has accomplished. Great expectations await me and am surely proud to be part of Proflight at 25 years,” Kamwendo tells Proflight.
